Terms of Service

These terms form the agreement between you and RELAYVANE LTD (“Relayvane”, “we”, “us”) for use of the Relayvane VPN application and service. By installing the app or buying a subscription you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Relayvane provides a virtual private network for personal use: the app encrypts the internet traffic leaving your device and routes it through a server we operate. The service is supplied to you as a consumer, for your own private use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for making sure your use of a VPN complies with the laws that apply to you where you are.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your subscription. A subscription is for one person. The number of devices that may be connected at the same time is limited, as stated on the Pricing page. Tell us promptly at hello@relayvane.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• A subscription gives you access for the period you have purchased and ends when that period expires unless it is renewed.
• Prices are shown on the Pricing page. The amount charged in your local currency, and any applicable tax, is determined at the point of sale.
• If you buy through the App Store or Google Play, the purchase and any automatic renewal are managed by Apple or Google in your account settings, and you can cancel renewal there at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the paid period ends.

5. Right to cancel and refunds

If you buy through the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and you should request them there.

Where you buy directly from us, as a UK or EU consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. Digital services are an exception: if you ask us to start the service immediately and you agree that you lose the right to cancel once it has been fully performed, the 14-day right does not apply to the part already supplied. If something is wrong with the service, your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected by these terms. Contact us at hello@relayvane.com.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone else's rights;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• attack, scan, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system or network;
• distribute malware;
• harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
• resell, share or redistribute the service to other people.

If a subscription is used in breach of this section we may suspend or terminate it. Where the breach is not serious we will give you notice and a chance to put it right first.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service running reliably, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption or error. Access may be paused for maintenance, or affected by matters outside our control, including the condition of your own internet connection.

8. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms — for example to reflect changes to the service or to the law. If a change is material we will give subscribers reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. We may end this agreement on reasonable notice, or immediately in the case of a serious breach of section 6. If we end it without cause we will refund the unused part of your subscription.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your own country, and may bring proceedings there.
